  4. The Text menu is used to specify some of the characteristics
  5. for drawing characters.
  6.  
  7. The first group is used to pick a size:
  8.  
  9.                 Small
  10.                 Medium
  11.                 Large
  12.                 X-Large
  13.  
  14. "Small" is the natural size for the particular font file and
  15. the actual size varies between fonts.  The other sizes are
  16. derived by expanding the characters by a factor of 2, 3, or 4.
  17. The currently selected size will have a check mark in front
  18. of it.

  20. The next menu item:
  21.  
  22.                 Border
  23.  
  24. is used to draw a black border around each character.  This 
  25. makes the characters stand out better, especially if the 
  26. background is not a solid color.  A check mark will appear
  27. next to it when this option is turned on.

  29. The rest of the menu is composed of the names of the available
  30. fonts.  This list is built by searching for files named *.FNT
  31. when Pasokon TV starts up.

  36. Drawing Characters

  39. Click on the "T" icon in the paint tool box.  Move the cursor 
  40. to the desired starting position for the text and click either
  41. the left or right mouse button.  Type your message.  Use the
  42. Backspace key to fix mistakes.  Use Enter to start a new line.

  44. When the left mouse button is used, characters are solid primary
  45. paint color.

  47. When the right mouse button is used, characters fade from the 
  48. primary color to the secondary color.
